Windows Logo key control for MS-DOS programs
============================================

This PowerToy lets you configure your MS-DOS game so that Windows will
ignore the Windows logo key while the game is running. Very HelpFull
when playing Duke3d! Read the DOSWINKY.INF file for more information.


Install Instructions:

   When this device driver is installed, you can disable the Windows
   logo key in MS-DOS programs.  Handy when playing a video game and
   you keep pressing that key by mistake.


   1. To install DOSWINKY

   Right-click this file and select "Install".
   Wait for disk activity to stop.
   Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.


   2. To use DOSWINKY

   Here are the steps for disabling the Windows logo key when playing
   your game.  Repeat these steps for each of your MS-DOS-based games.

	Right-click the MS-DOS program (or its shortcut).

	Select "Properties".

	Click on the "Misc" tab.

	Clear the check-mark from the Ctrl+Esc key to tell Windows
	to disable the Ctrl+Esc key when the game is running.
	DOSWINKY will also disable the Windows logo key when the
	game is running.

	Click OK to save your changes.

   Double-click the MS-DOS program (or its shortcut) to run the game.
   While the game is running, the Windows logo key will not open the
   Start Menu.


   3. Uninstalling DOSWINKY

   Open the Control Panel, double-click Add/Remove Programs, and
   double-click "Windows Logo key control for MS-DOS Programs".

   Wait for disk activity to stop.

   Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
